Blog

Happy February! January was such a busy month for me, especially since my second middle grade novel, THE GIRL IN THE LAKE, released on January 4th! I’ve decided to make a blog post featuring everything I did this month, in case you missed it!

Like I said, THE GIRL IN THE LAKE released on January 4th. This launch was significantly different than my launch for THE FORGOTTEN GIRL, and I will talk about that in another blog post. But on January 4th, I went to my local bookstore and signed some copies of both books!

That following weekend, I was in an amazing panel hosted by Book of Wonder – talking to readers is definitely one of my favorite parts of being an author, so I’m always excited to be included in a panel! Check it out here!

This was one of my favorite moments of the month! @KellzIsBookedUp on Instagram hosted an Instagram Live with me. We talked about everything from my writing process, to inspiration, to my heart shaped glasses! This was one of my favorite moments because she asked questions that I’d never been asked before. Check it out here!

I had the pleasure of sitting on this panel with DVCon 2022. I was so inspired by this panel, I found myself taking advice from the other authors! You can watch the entire replay here.

I also made this fun reel about my 1st book release vs. my 2nd!

January was such a fun month. We even had a couple of snow days, which is a rare treat in the Carolinas! In the middle of all of this, I was on deadline for my upcoming Debut YA novel, RHYTHM & MUSE. I cannot wait to share more about that one! Stay tuned!

Warmly,

India
